Videos, checkout laptops, and all other audiovisual materials check out for 7 days.
Desk Reserve and Media Library materials (checkout for Southwestern community only)
7, 3, or 1 day loan; 2 hour in-library use; 4 hour in-library use
Overnight use permitted for some 2-and 4-hour desk reserves. Items checked out overnight before library closing must be returned within one hour of opening the following morning.
You can renew most items online via WorldCat Local’s MyLibrary Account link. Please note: audiovisual equipment and reserve items cannot be renewed online.
Trouble with your computer? Need help with some software? Professional and student support staff are available in person, by phone and through email to answer your technology questions and resolve your technology problems.

InfoDesk staff can evaluate a problem in order to provide useful information and find a solution but cannot conduct repairs on personal computers. Any actual repair needs must be taken off campus.

Need a Pirate Card? Have your photo taken and receive a card immediately. Please remember that Pirate Cards are REQUIRED for access to the Library after 9 PM.
If you have lost your Pirate Card, there is a replacement fee of $20.00. Pirate Cards are available anytime the InfoDesk is staffed. If there is a problem with your card, the InfoDesk can replace it for free.
Poster and 3D Printing Reservations
Need to print a poster or other large format print?
You need 3 items in order to print a poster for your department:
- The poster file formatted as a PDF for 36” or 42” paper (preferably on a flash drive).
- The department account number to charge the cost to (personal prints will be charged accordingly on Pirate Print).
A reservation to use the printer which you can make using the link below. If you arrive 15 minutes past your scheduled time, you may not be able to print because that may impact the next person scheduled to print.
Reservations are available at the following times:
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 12:00 AM & 1:00 PM - 4:30 PM
